You click Validate as E-File on the Report Details tab of a Suspicious Activity Report for XML (SARX) in order to validate the XML format. When you do so, the report data saved to the database is reviewed for XML validation errors that might cause a FinCEN submission rejection. However, the XML Source window might not include a reference to the IdentificationPresentUnknownIndicator element name.
You would expect to see the IdentificationPresentUnknownIndicator element name in the XML after you select the Yes radio button for the 18 Form of identification for subject Unknown menu item on the Edit Subject screen.
However, after you select Yes, the IdentificationPresentUnknownIndicator element name is not listed in the XML after you click Validate as E-File.
As a workaround for this issue, follow these steps:
After you update the sarx_efile.xsl file, the XML Source window includes the IdentificationPresentUnknownIndicator element name.
