Problem Note 63131: Users cannot check their roles and group memberships and administrative users cannot clear the cache after modifying roles and group memberships

In the SAS® Risk and Finance Workbench UI, users cannot check their roles and group memberships, and administrative users cannot easily clear the cache after making changes to group memberships. There are no errors or warnings. 

The workaround is to use SAS® Management Console. Administrative users can restart SASServer_8 in order to clear the cache.

After you apply the hot fix, the following changes take effect:

  • Users can view a tree component that shows which roles they are assigned and which groups they are members of. 
  • Administrative users can use the Refresh User Entitlements button to clear the cache after making changes to user roles and group memberships.
