New options that SAS 9.4M6 provides for PROC SGPIE and PROC SGMAP are ignored in the resulting graphs. For example, a discrete attribute map definition for PROC SGPIE is ignored in the resulting pie chart.

This problem occurs when a SAS 9.4M6 maintenance release is installed on top of an existing version of SAS^® 9.4. To circumvent this problem, take these steps:

1. Exit SAS.
2. Open the sasv9.cfg file. It is located in this directory:
   !SASHOME\SASFoundation\9.4\nls\en\
3. Find the following line in the file: 
   -SET SAS_ODSG_CRENDER_PATH "D:\SAS_940m5_WX6\SASODSGraphicsCRenderer\9.44"
   (This line in the file might be slightly different on your system; for example, the path in this line could show a different version number, such as 9.43 instead of 9.44.)
4. Change the version number at the end of this line to 9.45, as shown here: 
   -SET SAS_ODSG_CRENDER_PATH "D:\SAS_940m5_WX6\SASODSGraphicsCRenderer\9.45"
5. Save the file.
6. Restart SAS.
7. Resubmit your PROC SGPIE or PROC SGMAP program.
