Problem Note 63674: The HTTP procedure applies percent encoding in a URL that includes a comma within a set of parentheses
When a URL argument in PROC HTTP includes a comma within parentheses, the comma character is encoded as %2C.
The URL in this code provides an example:
proc http
url="http://site.com/path/comma,is/fine/and space/foo(ARG1:VAL1,ARG2:VAL2)"
method="GET";
run;
The following information for the URL then appears in a web access log:
. . . path/comma,is/fine/and%20space/foo(ARG1:VAL1%2CARG2:VAL2) HTTP/1.1"
The comma that was inside the parentheses is incorrectly encoded.
