Problem Note 63468: Running a large Oracle SQL query causes SAS® Federation Server to stop responding with "General Error - invalid Exception"
SAS Federation Server Manager becomes unresponsive under the following conditions:
- You connect to an Oracle database from SAS Federation Server Manager.
- You run an SQL query that is longer than 30,000 characters.
In this scenario, the SAS Federation Server log shows the following error in the log:
T_PREPARE: Table Service: Function failed. Diagnostics: SQLState=HY000, NativeRC=80FFF99F, Text: General Error - invalid Exception.
In order to recover from this state, you must stop and then restart the SAS Federation Server service.

Running a large Oracle SQL query stops the SAS Federation Server process with this error in the log: "T_PREPARE: Table Service: Function failed. Diagnostics: SQLState=HY000, NativeRC=80FFF99F, Text: General Error- invalid Exception." To recover, you must stop and restart SAS Federation Server.
