Data sources used in your SAS Visual Analytics report could become duplicated in the following scenario:

• You use precision containers.
• A prompt is inside the container with a parameter assigned to it.
• Another report object is inside the container with no data assigned to it. For example, there is a text object or a bar chart with no data.
• You duplicate the report object that does not have data.

On the Data tab, you see two entries for your table:

This duplication does not cause any immediate problems, but it can potentially lead to report corruption. For example, if you use parameters inside calculated items, those parameters might also become duplicated, making it difficult to navigate through your parameter list.

If you encounter this problem, contact SAS Technical Support. It might be possible to repair the report. However, not all reports can be repaired.
