Problem Note 63214: Only details for the last selected object are displayed when you open multiple objects from SASĀ® Visual Investigator search results at the same time
In the search results, you can select multiple objects and open them all at the same time. For objects that are the same type, the data from the last object opened is incorrectly shown for all objects that are opened. Also, changes that are made to any object are associated only with the last object opened.
This issue is demonstrated when you take these actions, for example:
- Perform a search that returns multiple objects of the same entity.
- Review three objects (Objects A, B, and C) to understand their data differences.
- Select the same three objects from the search results. Right-click and select Open.
- The data for the last object (Object C) is displayed. This behavior is correct and expected.
- When you select the tab for Object B, the information for Object C is still displayed. This behavior is incorrect and not expected.
- When you select the tab for Object A, the information for Object C is still shown. This behavior is incorrect and not expected.
- With Object A selected and the comments panel open (showing comments associated with Object C), you can add a new comment. However, the comment is then associated with Object C, not with Object A, which you had selected.
