Usage Note 62983: The IBM hardware MCL and z/OS PTFs are not affected by the Meltdown security vulnerability in SAS 9.0 and later
There are no known issues with the IBM hardware Microcode Change Level (MCL) and z/OS program temporary fixes (PTFs) for the Meltdown security vulnerability. See SAS Statement Regarding Meltdown/Spectre Vulnerabilities for more information about this vulnerability.
Currently, SAS is supported when you enable OSPROTECT=1.
SAS does not reference the IHAPSA field PSASTAK.
