During SAS® Viya® 3.4 deployment and configuration tasks, you might encounter an issue in which caslibs cannot be used properly. This issue occurs because it is possible for operations that create and set access control lists (ACLs) on provided caslibs to be interrupted, leaving the caslib in an incomplete state.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note for a link to instructions about accessing and applying the software update. If you have a SAS Viya 3.4 Linux deployment, you are encouraged to apply this update in order to prevent caslib problems resulting from failures during multi-tenancy onboarding and other tasks.
To verify that the fix is installed, run the following rpm commands:
rpm -q sas-modelrepository
rpm -q sas-searchindex
rpm -q sas-sasvisualanalytics
rpm -q sas-sasreportviewer
To complete this process, make sure that the package versions shown in the rpm output either match or are newer than the following:
