An improved authentication module is available to replace the sasauth module for SAS 9.4M5 on 64-bit Linux.

The replacement module is available via a hot fix. Replacement of the original sasauth module is optional.

The new module is multi-threaded to reduce latency when multiple simultaneous authentication requests are made to SAS^® server processes, such as SAS^® Metadata Server or the SAS^® Object Spawner.
