When you promote a SAS Visual Analytics report to either 8.2 or 8.3, single gauges might be unexpectedly duplicated. For example, each gauge might be duplicated 10 times. This problem occurs for gauges that are the target of an interaction.

If you encounter this issue, complete these steps:

1. Open the original report in 7.x.
2. Remove the interactions that point to the gauge.
3. Promote the report.
4. Add back the interactions.

Do not attempt to fix the report by deleting duplicate gauges. If you do so, you might encounter the issue in SAS Note 63628.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note for a link to instructions about accessing and applying the software update. The hot fix does not repair reports that are already broken. Instead, re-import the reports after you apply the hot fix.
