Problem Note 62661: A "Numeric Value out of range" error occurs under certain conditions when you filter data in a FedSQL view via a WHERE clause
After you run a SELECT statement to filter data in a Federated Query Language (FedSQL) view, you might see the following error in your SAS® log:
ERROR: CLI prepare error: Numeric value out of range
You encounter this error when both of the following conditions are true:
- The WHERE clause contains a condition similar to the following:
variable IN (value1, value2);
- The FedSQL view is a join of two data sources that are sorted and indexed. If only one of the joined data sources is indexed, the error does not occur.
