Problem Note 62507: The INFILE/FILE user exit interface might fail due to changes in SAS® 9.4 TS1M5

In SAS 9.4 TS1M5, the INFILE/FILE User Exit (IFUE) interface was enhanced to provide additional support. As a result, pre SAS 9.4 TS1M5 IFUE routines fail in one of the following ways:
- abends (S0C4)
- storage overlays
- incorrect results
If you are running a user-defined IFUE and experience a failure in which IFUE processing is being performed, you are probably encountering this problem. To confirm whether this is the problem that you are experiencing, contact SAS Technical Support.
