SAS Visual Analytics has a limit of 15 unique values for lattice column and lattice row data roles. If there are more than 15 unique values, you see the following message in the graph:

If you create a filter to reduce the number of values, the filter might not work as expected in the modern version of the SAS Visual Analytics Viewer.

For example, suppose that your report includes a drop-down list that filters a graph. The drop-down list is not required, which means that it can be cleared. If no values are selected, the graph correctly displays the warning message. However, after you select a value from the drop-down list, the modern version of SAS Visual Analytics Viewer might continue to display the warning, as shown in the following display:

As a workaround, you can edit the report to make the filter required. If you make the filter required, then the warning message should never appear. .
