Problem Note 62193: SAS® Financial Management Add-in for Microsoft Excel might not open a report when the report file name contains double-byte characters
You might not be able to open a report that is published to SAS® Home (also known as SAS® Information Delivery Portal) when its file name contains characters from a double-byte character set (DBCS). A representative language that uses DBCS is Japanese, Korean, or Chinese.
Within the web portal, you can see the full report name with the DBCS characters within the Open File dialog box. However, when you try to open the file, you might see an error that mentions that the report cannot be found. In addition, in the error message, the DBCS characters within the file name disappear. Instead, the file name includes only the file extension type (for example, “DBCS-file-name.xlsb” becomes “.xlsb”). In this case, you see an ".xlsb cannot be found" error.
