Problem Note 62967: You try to open a view for data that is stored within Teradata and the action fails in SAS® Visual Investigator

After you try to access a view that uses data from Teradata and also uses Structured Query Language (SQL) functions, you might encounter the following error message:

An error occurred. The grid data could not be obtained.

A workaround is to remove any SQL functions from the view.

Verify That the Update Is Installed

To verify that the fix is installed, run the following rpm command:

rpm -qa | grep sas-svi-visual-investigator-7.1.56

To complete this process, make sure that the package version that is shown in the rpm output either matches or is newer than 7.1.56 with the following command:

rpm -qi sas-svi-visual-investigator
