Problem Note 62963: A SAS® Intelligence and Investigation Management configuration fails to import during a SAS® Visual Investigator upgrade

SAS Intelligence and Investigation Management depends on SAS Visual Investigator for certain functionality. When you upgrade SAS^® Visual Investigator 10.3.1 to SAS^® Visual Investigator 10.4 within the SAS Intelligence and Investigation Management installation, the import for the current configuration fails. You see errors like the following in the datahub log:

2018-08-08 10:51:43.906 ERROR 1452 — [ bootstrap-9] f.d.t.AsynchronousConfigTransportService : service [90da0901b365f048] Failed during the import: client error

com.sas.fcs.datahub.ValidationException: The field "Auto Generated Key" (entity "telecoms") cannot be updated because it is reserved for system use.

Verify That the Update Is Installed

To verify that the fix is installed, run the following rpm command:

rpm -qa | grep sas-svi-visual-investigator-7.1.56

To complete this process, make sure that the package version that is shown in the rpm output either matches or is newer than 7.1.56 with the following command:

rpm -qi sas-svi-visual-investigator
