Problem Note 62804: SAS® Enterprise GRC performs slowly when you assign testers by positions in a test or test definition
In SAS Enterprise GRC, you might experience performance issues when you create a test definition or a test and select testers by positions. The web application creates a large number of database connections, which negatively affects performance.
Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
After applying the hot fix, specify the following property in configdata.properties to optimize the database queries when assigning testers by positions:
monitor.query.virtualPositionOptSize=size-value
To enable the property, we recommend that you specify a value between 100 and 1000. The default value for the property is -1, which turns off the optimization.
When this property is enabled, SAS Enterprise GRC queries the dimensional points without first retrieving the RK for each role, thereby reducing the number of database queries.
