Problem Note 62758: Search results in SASĀ® Visual Investigator take a long time to render
When you search for a term in SAS Visual Investigator, you might notice an unexpected delay before you receive results. If you use a network-tracing tool (for example, Google Chrome developer tools), you can see that a call for icons could take more than two seconds to complete. The call looks similar to the following:
http://host:port/datahub/rest/icons/image?objectTypeName=vp_ie_field_contact&iconType=REGULAR

Verify That the Update Is Installed
To verify that the fix is installed, run the following rpm command:
rpm -qa | grep sas-svi-visual-investigator-6.4.16
To complete this process, make sure that the package version that is shown in the rpm output either matches or is newer than 6.4.16 with the following command:
rpm -qi sas-svi-visual-investigator
