Problem Note 62684: The SAS® Viya® 3.3 compute server fails to launch and returns "ERROR...Failed to launch process..." in the log file
The SAS Viya 3.3 compute server launch fails when you attempt to launch a process with the userid@domain.com user name format. In this scenario, messages similar to the following appear in the sas-launcher log file:

ERROR 7687 --- [o-auto-1-exec-8] com.sas.commons.rest.ExceptionLog : user@example.com(f776ac78) [7016cc4aa4be03e0] caused by: com.sas.launcher.tklauncher.ClientException: Failed to launch process: host=server.example.com port=41541 ssl=true
ERROR 7687 --- [o-auto-1-exec-8] com.sas.commons.rest.ExceptionLog : user@example.com(f776ac78) [7016cc4aa4be03e0] caused by: com.sas.launcher.tklauncher.ClientException: Server error: status=0x80BFD100 messages=[ERROR: Access denied.]
The problem can occur in any SAS Viya 3.3 solution that uses the compute server, such as SAS® Model Manager.

Verify That the Update Is Installed
To verify that the fix is installed, run the following rpm commands:
rpm -q sas-tksecure1
rpm -q sas-tkcore1
rpm -q sas-tkintr1
To complete this process, make sure that the package versions shown in the rpm output either match or are newer than the following:
sas-tksecure1-03.09.02-20180703.143550840313.x86_64
sas-tkcore1-03.09.01-20180703.144332774692.x86_64
sas-tkintr1-03.07.01-20180703.145146552440.x86_64
