If you use Solr search capabilities with SAS Enterprise Case Management or SAS Anti-Money Laundering, you should install Solr 5.5.5 instead of Solr 4.7.2 or earlier. Solr versions that are earlier than 5.5.5 contain security vulnerabilities. This recommendation applies to SAS Enterprise Case Management 6.2 or later and to SAS Anti-Money Laundering 6.3 or 6.3M1.

Note that the instructions for setting up Solr as an operating system service in the PrepareSolr directory are obsolete for Solr 5.5.5.
