Problem Note 62358: An org.xml.sax.SAXParseException error occasionally occurs in SAS® 9.4 web application files

This SAS Note explains the org.xml.sax.SAXParseException message that might appear occasionally in SAS® application logs. For example, you can occasionally observe the org.xml.sax.SAXParseException message in the SASWIPServices9.4.log file when the SAS® BI Server 9.4 environment is about to become idle.
This exception is caused by a java.lang.NullPointerException that appears in SASLogon9.4.log file.
In addition, the following 500 HTTP status code appears in the 2018-01-04 03:01:22 time frame in the access_2018-01-04-09.53.log file, as shown below:

This exception does not cause any negative issues to front-end users. Therefore, you can safely ignore it.
