Problem Note 62306: A call of PROC FCMP might fail and return "ERROR: The text expression length (65535) exceeds maximum length (65534)"
When you call a PROC FCMP function using %PUT and %SYSFUNC(), the call might fail and PROC FCMP might return an error similar to the following:
ERROR: The text expression length (65535) exceeds maximum length (65534). The text expression has been truncated to 65534 characters.
You encounter this problem when you run code similar to the following:
%put %sysfunc(function-name());
The expected behavior is that the text string should be allowed to remain at its defined length rather than be truncated.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
When you call an FCMP procedure function using %PUT and %SYSFUNC(), PROC FCMP might return errors. In this scenario, the text string is truncated even though it should be allowed to remain at its defined length.
