Problem Note 62194: The command for a job is not updated when you redeploy a job and select a new batch server in the Schedule Manager plug-in for SAS® Management Console
When you redeploy a job in the Schedule Manager plug-in and select a new batch server, the command for the job is not updated. Here is an example.
Here is the original command:
E:\sasconfig\Lev1\SASApp\BatchServer\sasbatch.bat -log E:\sasconfig\Lev1\SASApp\BatchServer\Logs\procoptionstest_#Y.#m.#d_#H.#M.#s.log -batch -noterminal -logparm "rollover=session" -sysin E:\sasconfig\Lev1\SASApp\SASEnvironment\SASCode\Jobs\procoptionstest.sas
When you select SASApp2 as the new batch server, the command should appear as follows:
E:\sasconfig\Lev1\SASApp\BatchServer\sasbatch.bat -log E:\sasconfig\Lev1\SASApp2\BatchServer\Logs\procoptionstest_#Y.#m.#d_#H.#M.#s.log -batch -noterminal -logparm "rollover=session" -sysin E:\sasconfig\Lev1\SASApp\SASEnvironment\SASCode\Jobs\procoptionstest.sas
However, the command does not reflect the change and remains the same as the original command.
The only workaround is to edit the command for the job.
