Problem Note 62167: A LIBNAME statement to Hadoop might fail to assign when you use a RESTful API
If you set the SAS_HADOOP_RESTFUL environment variable to 1 to enable the RESTful application programming interface (API), you might encounter the following issues:
- The LIBNAME statement to Hadoop might fail to assign on the first attempt.
- The initial attempt to write to Hadoop might fail with an error similar to the following:
ERROR: Failed a write to HDFS file: /tmp/sasdata-yyyy-mm-dd-nn-nn-nn-nn-l-nnnnn.dlv. Possible causes are the Hadoop HDFS service experienced failure, no disk space available, or user 'XXX' lacks write permission to HDFS directory /tmp.
To work around this problem, try submitting the LIBNAME statement again within the same session.
