Problem Note 62005: SAS® Visual Analytics might display "An element cannot be aggregated" when you create an aggregated measure

When defining the expression for an aggregated measure, SAS Visual Analytics might display the following errors in the New Calculated Item dialog box:
Operand can only be aggregated, but this operator does not support aggregation.
An element cannot be aggregated.
This problem can occur when you try to use a character parameter with IF/THEN/ELSE operators.
In the following example, Parameter 2 is a character parameter:
