The configuration of the Job Monitor Administration component fails when you deploy it from a Rev. 940_17w16 depot or later. When the failure occurs, the following message is displayed in the configuration log:

The configuration fails when the host name for the SAS® Environment Manager agent is greater than 60 characters.
To work around this problem, you need to manually edit the jobmntrhyp_config.xml file, which is located in the $SASHOME\SASJobMonitorAdministration\2.2\Config folder. In the file, manually enter a shortened (truncated) host name.
After you modify and save the jobmntrhyp_config.xml file, click Retry. Then the configuration should complete successfully
