Problem Note 61889: The BASKET_ADDS column in the Ecommerce report is missing data even though website visitors added items to a shopping cart
In SAS® 360 Discover, the BASKET_ADDS column in the Ecommerce report is empty and no data is visible. The underlying CART_ACTIVITY_DETAIL_FACT table contains data that confirms the basket additions.
The reason for this problem is that the cxa_avae_pull_prod_vst_dat macro looks for records that have an ACTIVITY_CD value of Added or Removed. However, the CART_ACTIVITY_DETAIL_FACT table contains values that are named add and removes or other values with similar names.
For a workaround to this problem, contact SAS Technical Support. The workaround contains data-cleansing code that changes an ACTIVITY_CD value from add (or from a value with alternative wording) to Added. It also contains an updated macro. You can adjust the macro to use the values that are provided in the normalization data. Please contact Technical Support to obtain an updated macro that contains this new cleansing code.
