Problem Note 61713: SAS® does not finish reading data sets that contain the RECFM=N DCB attribute

When using RECFM=N to attempt to read a data set that contains the RECFM=FB and LRECL=80 DCB attributes, SAS does not finish reading the data set. Instead, it stops about two-thirds of the way through the data when it incorrectly encounters an End of Field (EOF).
You encounter this issue when the data set you are reading contains a logical record delimiter, because logical records can wrap to the next physical record.
