When reading data with SAS Enterprise Guide using the SAS/ACCESS Interface to Hadoop engine, you might notice that cell data is not always properly blanked. This issue can occur when you read multiple pages of data through the Hadoop engine. In this case, extra data from the first logical page of the data incorrectly appears as pad characters when the Nth row from the next page is displayed.

For example, considering the following two-column test data, here separated by commas:

If you read this test data in two pages (each page containing five rows), the incorrect data appears on the second page:
