Incorrect results might be generated when you use the XMLV2 LIBNAME engine to read XML files in the z/OS operating environment. The problem occurs when the XPATH syntax for a column in the XMLMap file extends beyond 302 characters.  When this occurs, the incorrect record can be selected. 

You will most likely see two or more columns with identical content in the data set when this problem occurs.  The problem does not occur if you read the same XML file with the XMLMap file in a different operating environment.
