Problem Note 61530: "The maximum length of this input field has been exceeded" occurs when you enter text in "Step 5 - Narrative" in Suspicious Activity Reports
When you enter text in the Suspicious Activity Information-Narrative field of your Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) page in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering, you get this error message:
(The maximum length of this input field has been exceeded.)
You encounter this problem when you enter more than 4,000 characters in this field.

The length of the "Suspicious Activity Information-Narrative" field in the SAS® Anti-Money Laundering 7.1 Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) page is limited to 4,000 characters. When you exceed this limit, "The maximum length of this input field has been exceeded" occurs.
