Problem Note 61491: SAS® Enterprise Guide® displays the error "The file could not be opened for reading. Type: Xceed.FileSystem.DiskFile FullName" when you open a project

You might see the following error when you attempt to open a project in SAS Enterprise Guide:
"The file could not be opened for reading. Type: Xceed.FileSystem.DiskFile FullName: filename.egp"
This error can occur when the project file is already opened in another SAS Enterprise Guide instance, and the other instance is SAS Enterprise Guide 7.15 with Hot Fix B4N001 or later.
To circumvent the error, ensure that all instances of SAS Enterprise Guide are version 7.15 with Hot Fix B4N001 or later.
