Problem Note 61352: An "illegal character" error occurs when you use a Process node in SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
When you use a Process node in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, you might see the following error in the SAS Customer Intelligence Core log file:
MPRINT(MASPINIT): _CLASSES_ FROM _SYSTABLES_ IN FILE '';
ERROR: There is an illegal character in the name.
ERROR: Encountered during XMLMap parsing at or near line 2, column 1478.
ERROR: XML describe error: Internal processing error.
NOTE: Statements not processed because of errors noted above
This problem occurs because the Process node uses the MacroVar and Neighbor streams, and the input node's Name and Description values that precede a Process node contain the less-than (<), character, the ampersand (&) character, or both.
As a workaround, do not use the less-than or ampersand characters.
