Problem Note 61308: SAS Merchandise Solutions Configuration Workbench generates 'ORA-12899: value to large for column "<SCHEMA>"."<TABLE>","CREATED_BY"...'

SAS® Merchandise Solutions Configuration Workbench might generate the following error:
ORA-12899: value to large for column "<SCHEMA>"."<TABLE>","CREATED_BY" (actual:24, maximum:20)
Where <SCHEMA> is the name of your Oracle schema and <TABLE> is one of the following tables:

This error occurs when the APP_USER_ID defined in the DI_TRANS.APP_USER table is more than 20 characters.
The workaround for this issue is to ensure that all user_ids defined in the SAS® Merchandise Intelligence Plug-in for SAS Management Console are no more than 20 characters.
