Problem Note 61307: Using the CONNECTION=GLOBAL option sometimes causes a deadlock

When you use the CONNECTION=GLOBAL option with SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Microsoft SQL Server, SAS/ACCESS® Interface to DB2, or SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC (connecting to SQL Server or DB2), utility transactions are not implicitly committed. This issue causes a deadlock to occur.
To work around this problem, remove the CONNECTION=GLOBAL option.
