Problem Note 61289: The ContentCheck parameter in the SAS® Customer Intelligence SASCIUTILS utility does not work when HTTPS is configured for SAS® Content Server
When you execute the SAS Customer Intelligence SASCIUTILS utility with the ContentCheck parameter, the utility fails and the following error appears in the utility log:
Caused by: com.sas.services.ServiceException: Error trying to connect to http://sas_server:8343/SASContentServer/repository/default/sasdav for ciadmin@saspw
[ com.sas.services.webdav.DAVException: Exception accessing http://sas_server:8343 (The server sas_server failed to respond) ]
This problem occurs when you execute the utility as shown here:
sasciutils –useraction ContentCheck -userid <ID> -password <password> -metaserver <server name> -metaport <server port> -logfile <filename>
The utility fails when SAS® Content Server is configured to use the HTTPS protocol. As shown in the error message above, the utility tries to connect via HTTP rather than via HTTPS.
