The approval file might be missing in a multi-file approval task after you click the Modify Approvers button on the task page in SAS Marketing Operations Management. The approval file might also be missing during the approval process.

This problem might happen under the following set of conditions:

• Your deliverable includes two multi-file approval tasks (for example, Task 1 and Task 2).
• Your deliverable is configured so that the approval file automatically transfers from Task 1 to Task 2.
• Task 1 has a status of Complete.
• After you submit Task 2, the status of this task changes to Active.

You then open Task 2 and click Modify Approvers from the task page. After you click the button, the approval file might be missing.

The problem does not occur when you click the icon that is to the right of the second multi-file approval task in the deliverable and you select Modify Approvers from the options list. So you can work around the problem by selecting Modify Approvers from the icon list rather than using the button on the task page.
