Problem Note 61241: Applying Hot Fix Z77007 (in SAS Note 60704) to correct counts in an OR node does not work when a driver name contains a period (.)
In SAS Note 60704 ("Incorrect counts might appear in an Or node in SAS® Customer Intelligence when the underlying database is Microsoft SQL Server"), the hot fix does not work if your provider name contains a period (.). For example, if you have the name SQLNCLl11.1 as the value for the PROVIDER= option, that name is automatically converted to include double quotation marks around the provider name (PROVIDER="SQLNCLl11.1").
The quotation marks are inserted automatically when a LIBNAME statement is generated from SAS® Management Console. The defined syntax for the LIBNAME statement requires double quotation marks around names with special characters, and the period is considered a special character. Because of the quotation marks, the code in Hot Fix Z77007 does not recognize that the database is Microsoft SQL Server, and the fix does not take effect.
To work around this problem, use a provider name that does not contain a period (for example, PROVIDER=SQLNCLl11).
