Problem Note 61124: When you use the SASGSUB command-line utility to submit a job to the grid, the return code has a value of zero (0) instead of the correct error value

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

Using SASGSUB to submit a job to the grid might return incorrect results. That is, you might get a 0 return code even though there are errors in the logs.  Generally speaking, a return code of 0 indicates that the job ran successfully.

There is no workaround.
