The modern version of SAS Visual Analytics Viewer might incorrectly show default prompt values when row-level security is applied on the data source. To illustrate this issue, this SAS Note uses a button bar. The exact behavior might vary depending on the object and how the report is designed.
For example, suppose a report has a required prompt for Product Line, and the report is saved with the value Beach selected for the prompt
A user who has permission to see Figure but does not have permission to see Beach opens the report in the modern version of SAS Visual Analytics Viewer. The button bar correctly shows the value that the user has permission to see: Figure. However, the filter shown on the right is still Beach, and no data is displayed for Figure in the report object.
