Problem Note 61035: When two SAS® Visual Analytics reports are linked, interactive filters might not be correctly applied to the target report
When you create a link between two SAS Visual Analytics reports, the interactive filters might not work correctly. Specifically, if both reports contain an aggregated measure and a prompt control, then the filters might not be applied correctly in the target report.
The following example illustrates the issue:
- Create a link between Report1 and Report2.
- In Report1, select Bologna from the drop-down list.
- Double-click the gauge.
- Report2 opens.
- In the prompt and in the Information pane on the right, the value Bologna is correctly displayed. However, the value for Cargo, shown in the bar chart, should be 144, as shown in the gauge in Report1. This means that the interactive filter was not properly applied on the data in Report2.
To avoid this issue, you can pre-calculate the aggregated measures before using them in the reports.
