Problem Note 61892: Issues that are addressed in the SAS® Event Stream Processing 5.1.1 hot fix
The SAS Event Stream Processing 5.1.1 hot fix addresses the following issues:
- The C adapters restart issue is fixed.
- An intermittent crash due to the incorrect shutdown order in the C Kafka pubsub transport executeMeta() method is fixed.
- The protobuf library in the Protobuf parser no longer crashes when a field of type message repeats but the number of repeated fields is equal to 0.
- For the SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server adapter, the switch for the TRANSPORTCONFIGFILE parameter is corrected to -y.
- Metadata requests for C Kafka and RabbitMQ pubsub transport types now complete successfully before calling the start() method.
- An intermittent crash in retention tracking that occurred while processing an empty event block is fixed.
- The connector and adapter password decryption failure on Microsoft Windows is fixed.
- A failover that occurs when the first message that a standby server receives after setting the last message ID has the ID equal to that last ID plus 1 is fixed.
- The crash that occurred when the parent window to a join window is replaced dynamically via a REST call is fixed.
