Usage Note 61868: "ERROR: Image SASSAP found but not loadable" and other errors occur when you issue a LIBNAME statement to connect to SAP R/3

When you issue a SAS® LIBNAME statement to connect to SAP via SAS/ACCESS® Interface to R/3, errors that are similar to the following might occur:
ERROR: Image SASSAP found but not loadable.
ERROR: Operating system error 126 occurred.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
These errors occur when the SAP Remote Function Call (RFC) libraries are not downloaded from the SAP website and installed on the SAS server.
To work around this problem, download and install the RFC libraries from the SAP website and install them on your SAS server. For information about the requirements for RFC libraries, see the "System Requirements" section of the Post-Installation Instructions for SAS/ACCESS® 9.4 Interface to R/3.
