Usage Note 61867: "ERROR...Attribute identifier invalid..." occurs when you use SAS/ACCESS® Interface to ODBC to connect to a Snowflake database
When using SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC to connect to a Snowflake database, you can receive an error similar to the following:
snowflake_odbc_connection_1.log:Jan 11 18:00:47 ERROR 982050560 Connection::SQLSetConnectAttr: [Snowflake][ODBC] (10210) Attribute identifier invalid or not supported: 1061
snowflake_odbc_connection_1.log:Jan 11 18:00:47 ERROR 982050560 Connection::SQLGetInfoW: [Snowflake][ODBC] (11180) SQLGetInfo property not found: 1029
snowflake_odbc_connection_1.log:Jan 11 18:00:47 ERROR 982050560 Connection::SQLGetInfoW: [Snowflake][ODBC] (11180) SQLGetInfo property not found: 1024
snowflake_odbc_connection_1.log:Jan 11 18:00:47 ERROR 982050560 Connection::SQLGetInfoW: [Snowflake][ODBC] (11180) SQLGetInfo property not found: 1199
snowflake_odbc_connection_1.log:Jan 11 18:00:47 ERROR 982050560 Connection::SQLGetInfoW: [Snowflake][ODBC] (11180) SQLGetInfo property not found: 8196
snowflake_odbc_connection_1.log:Jan 11 18:00:47 ERROR 982050560 Connection::SQLGetInfoW: [Snowflake][ODBC] (11180) SQLGetInfo property not found: 1000
The problem is especially likely to occur when you run SAS in a Docker container on queries that return a large amount of data. The problem can also occur when you use isql with the same ODBC database connection that you are using for SAS/ACCESS Interface to ODBC.
To circumvent the problem, install the latest driver from the Downloading the ODBC Driver page on the Snowflake website.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
The problem is especially likely to occur when you run SAS in Docker containers. To circumvent the problem, download the latest version of the ODBC driver from the Snowflake website.
