In some cases, the modern version of SAS Visual Analytics Viewer might not display a custom sort order correctly. Specifically, problem occurs if the category used to define the custom sort is part of a hierarchy, but the category is not the first level in the hierarchy. For example, suppose that the category Age has a custom sort order defined as follows:

• < 1
• 1-5
• 6-18
• 19-20

The category Age is also the second level of a two-level hierarchy defined as Age Group > Age.

In the following display, the graph is drilled down to the second level in the hierarchy, Age. In this example, the 19-20 group incorrectly appears before the 6-18 group on the X axis.
