Problem Note 61644: "ERROR: Unable to create index..." occurs when you run the alert generation process using Unicode encoding in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering

You might encounter an error similar to the following when creating an index on a data set during the alert generation process:
ERROR: Unable to create index "on_organization_name" (file "STG_WTCH.WL_ORG_NAME_HASH") because the index value length (3200 bytes) is too large. Index page size (current
8192) must be large enough to store three index values and a small overhead structure. Reduce the index length or use the IBUFSIZE = option to increase the index page size (up to 32,767 bytes).

This problem occurs when you use Unicode encoding in SAS® Anti-Money Laundering.
The workaround is to add the following SAS option before running the alert generation process:
options ibufsize=MAX ibufno=MAX;
