Problem Note 61623: The Load Data to LASR directive fails with the "...not a valid SAS name..." error

When you use the Load to LASR directive, a Hadoop LIBNAME statement is created during code generation. The libref for the Hadoop LIBNAME statement is the value specified for the TAG= parameter of the LASR library that is defined in metadata. If the value for the TAG= parameter is longer than eight characters, then the Hadoop LIBNAME statement fails with the following error:
ERROR: <libref-name> is not a valid SAS name.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
