Problem Note 61558: SAS® Episode Analytics 3.1.1 - Validation of SEA_PROVIDER_HIERARCHY table produces errors if duplicate provider IDs are present in SEA_PROVIDER table
The sea_dq_provider_hierarchy SAS® macro program validates all the provider IDs in the SEA_PROVIDER_HIERARCHY table. A provider ID is considered invalid if it is not included in the SEA_PROVIDERS table.
A validation check is performed by creating a SAS format called $prvlst; if the SEA_PROVIDERS table contains duplicate provider IDs no SAS® format is generated and the following error appears in the SAS log:
ERROR: For format $PRVLST, this range is repeated, or values overlap:
1003072117-1003072117.
ERROR 48-59: The format $PRVLST was not found or could not be loaded.
The sea_dq_provider_hierarchy SAS macro program has been corrected to process duplicate provider ID values correctly.
