Usage Note 61460: SAS® Visual Analytics might take a long time to process data that is loaded with a star join view
Although you can load a star join view into the SAS® Cloud Analytic Services environment, a star join view is not recommended for use with SAS Visual Analytics. Data loaded via a star join view is temporarily materialized many, many times during a session. For that reason, performance can be very poor. There is no workaround that improves performance.
